State of Michigan Propety Tax Estimator

This is a link to the State of Michigan Property Tax Estimator. It asks you to enter the SEV of the property that you might purchase. The best estimate of SEV (State Equalized Value) is to take 50% of what you think you will pay for the home.
So input 50% of the value of the home you might be considering and the municipality it is in, (our County is Marquette County) to come up with a rough estimate of annual property taxes. Note: the millage rates used are generally from the previous year, but it still gets you pretty close.
